After a four year wait, we’ve finally been able to see the story of Attack on Titan continue in anime form. Being the impatient person that I am, I’ve been following the manga for some time, so these episodes are nothing new for me story-wise, but it is nice to see them animated. Unfortunately there will only be twelve episodes this season, but the action, acting, animation, and music have been excellent. Hopefully the season three won’t be another four year wait!
Speaking of the music, popular composer Sawano Hiroyuki is back to provide the soundtrack for the series. The soundtrack will be released on June 7, 2017 featuring a total of thirty-four tracks on two discs, and according to CDJapan comes in a special packaging. In my opinion, the music is one of the best parts of the show and compliments the emotional tones of the scenes perfectly.
