Re:Creators is an interesting anime about what would happen if Author’s imaginations actually manifested into alternate realities where the heroes and villains of their stories were real, and the characters find themselves crossing over into our world. You can check out my first impression here, and definitely check it out when you get a chance to watch it if you haven’t yet, because it’s shaping up to be an awesome series so far.

The series is backed by a great soundtrack by seasoned composer Hiroyuki Sawano whose works include (but aren’t limited to): Attack on Titan, Aldnoah Zero, Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, and Xenoblade Chronicles X. The songs capture the mood of the scenes perfectly and Sawano seems to have a grasp on how to create an atmosphere depending on the tone of the scene. I personally appreciate that there are quite a few vocal songs on the soundtrack, and I am looking forward to hearing the full versions of them.

Re:Creators OST is spread across 2 discs for a total of 34 tracks and includes an interview booklet. You can get the first pressing which is up for pre-order now on CDJapan.com, with a release date of June 14th.
