Last month we were graced with the pre-order for Good Smile Company’s 1/7 scale Rem figure, and now her sister Ram joins her. Ram may not get as much screen time as Rem, but she’s an interesting and likable character in her own right. I (and I imagine many others) am especially entertained by the way she addresses Subaru as “Barasu” all the time.
Just like the matching Rem figure, this version of Ram is based off of the 2nd volume of the Blu-ray/DVD jacket cover artwork featuring the twins at work. Ram is looking stern with her deck brush, as she’s probably set to scold “Barasu” for something foolish. Ram may not have as many accessories as Rem, but this sculpt looks incredible, and her maid outfit looks extremely detailed with many frills and creases.
I especially like the way the stone bases link together so that you can recreate the scene from the artwork. Ram is currently set to be released in February of 2018, but it’s usually best to put in your orders as soon as possible as most pre-orders are filled on a first com, first served basis. Re:Zero is really breaking the bank lately with all these wonderful figures, but out of all of the recent ones, I think this is a set not to be missed.
