Pre-orders have begun for Kotobukiya’s 1/8 scale figure for Tales of Berseria’s lead character: Velvet Crowe. Velvet has a really cool aesthetic; her design is sort of a cross between goth and pirate style that somehow works wonderfully. Kotobukiya makes some of the best statues (though a bit pricey) and this one appears to be no different from their usual quality. It appears they did a very good job with the sculpt and I particularly like the way they gave her hair that “blowing in the wind” effect. Velvet is set for a March release, which just so happens to coincide nicely with the English release of Tales of Berseria.
