There isn’t much info available on this just yet, but the pre-order for the Limited Edition PS Vita version of the Re:Zero Visual Novel game is available on Play-Asia right now. There will also be a PS4 release, but I’m not sure if there will be a physical copy or not since there is no pre-order available at the moment. As of the time of this writing, there isn’t any info that I could find about what the limited edition will contain, but since it costs $36 more than the regular edition you can expect a decent amount of goodies. I will try to update as this info becomes available.

So, what do we know? Well, for starters the game will feature an all new story line in which Subaru must woo one of Re:Zero’s ladies (Emilia, Ram, Rem, Beatrice, Felt, Priscilla, Anastasia, and Crusch.) for a kiss so that he can lift a curse called “The Fate of Death” placed upon him. The game takes place during a contest between the girls called the “Beauty Queen Election.” The winner is selected through a variety of contests focused on different skills and traits. The winning lady is awarded the “Metia”, which is a royal treasure of magical origins which afflicted Subaru with the aforementioned curse.

According to what articles I’ve come across so far, there will be 8 different endings, which I imagine the ending you get is affected by which girl you win the affections of. You can keep an eye out for more on the official website for the game here. I’ve never really dabbled in Visual Novels myself, but I enjoy Re:Zero a great deal so I may just give this one a try. Here’s to hoping it gets an English release at some point.
