If you haven’t seen Re: Zero, then see my previous post to get an idea of what it’s all about. If you’re already familiar, then this may be of interest to you. The music of Re: Zero has this anime season’s best (and in my opinion one of the best overall) soundtracks. This upcoming CD is for the latest ending theme: “Stay Alive”, which is actually performed by Rie Takahashi, the voice actress who plays Emilia in the show! Also on this CD and performed by Ms. Takahashi is the song “Dream of Boy”, which played during the “lap pillow” scene where Emilia comforts the distraught Subaru.
The CD will also contain the track “Wishing”, which was featured in episode 18, which is by far one of the most moving episodes of a series I’ve ever seen. “Wishing” is performed by Inori Minase, who plays everyone’s favorite sweet yet demonic battle maid; Rem. Both songs are really great and the actresses are very talented vocalists. Even if you’re not a fan of this show, I would still recommend the music.
